Trinity Hope House is a fledgling ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newark, OH. We operate under the 501 (c)(3) non-profit status of our church.
The purpose of Trinity Hope House is to act as short term shelter to bridge the gap for women released from incarceration to community resources including: housing assistance, life skills, recovery counseling, as well as a bed and food during their stay.
We operate from a leased 3 bedroom house, and have been in operation since December 2019. During this time, we have assisted 11 women in their journey from incarceration to home. Many of these women would be homeless upon release without our intervention.
We are humbly requesting your donation today to help us bridge a gap in funding caused by COVID-19. As a short term shelter, the pandemic has forced us to provide more long term services than originally planned, due to shelter in place requirements. This has led us to burn through significantly more resources than we could have anticipated, creating a funding gap.
Will you help? Your donation of $25 will help us quickly reach our $5,000 goal, and allow us to continue to provide these essential services to the women in our community.
We have received a very generous offer of matching funds for this campaign! Every donation will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to our goal of $5,000.
On behalf of the Trinity Hope House steering committee, and the clients that we serve, thank you for your consideration!
