Hello Family and Friends,
Adeline and I will be competing in an 8 mile paddle board race in Atlantic City on June 9th benefiting the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation. We are raising money for the cause and entry fee to do the paddle. Our goal is to raise $1000 together. The DRCF wrote my friend a check for $5000 last year when she was sick and going through chemo. She was able to pay her property taxes and relieve some stress during this difficult time. You can see why this cause is so important to us.
The 22.5 mile event is the most challenging paddle board race on the East Coast. Racers go through back bay flat water, 2 technical inlets and the ocean, battling wind, tide and heat & whatever mother nature delivers. The Paddle for a Cause pales in comparison to the challenge men and women with cancer withstand.
On June 9th men and women from near and far come to AC to take the challenge and paddle 22.5 miles around Atlantic City. There is also the 4 mile and 8 mile event as well. We aren't trained well enough this year to take on the full 22.5; however, Adeline and I will paddle the 8 mile event. We will leave from the Golden Nugget around into the choppy, windy Brigantine Inlet to the back bay and to the Wonder Bar in Atlantic City. From there, we will turn around and come back to the Golden Nugget. While we are fighting the elements, we will be praying for those near and dear in our hearts who are struggling with this disease. We will be putting a few names on a piece of paper in our pockets and setting intentions for our friends as we paddle. Please help us meet our goal. Any donation will help. Thank you for helping us paddle it forward.

There will be an after party and awards ceremony at the Golden Nugett and we invite you to attend. Visit thedrcf.org for more information.
