In T-Minus 30 days, I'll be competing in my first Olympic Triathlon in Lake Tahoe, CA.
I’ve never competed in any of these events before (and can barely swim as I’ve recently discovered), so my personal goal is to FINISH this race...
At this point, you may be wondering why I'm doing this to myself...
Raise $5K in 30 days to fund research with the MSA Coalition.
What's the MSA Coalition? you ask.
They work to advocate for new treatments, generate awareness and fund the research that will one day cure Multiple-system atrophy. (MSA) is a degenerative neurological disorder, and is associated with the degeneration of nerve cells in specific areas of the brain. Being a fairly uncommon disorder, there are limited studies being done to better understand this horrible disease and to ultimately cure MSA.
1-mile swim, 24-mile ride, and 7-mile run - all at 6,000 ft. of elevation.
Donate! Even if it's just $10 - every penny counts, and you will be funding research that will impact the lives of hundreds of folks and families affected by this disease, including mine. If you want to contribute even more - join me, and start your own campaign to raise funds!
