Join me to #keepstandupafloat and help raise money for breast cancer screening and research!
My aunt, Patty Trego, is a breast cancer survivor. Because of her fight with the disease, I am raising money to support breast cancer screening and research.
Aunt Patty, who's technically a second cousin, grew up 2 houses down from my mom. Only a few years apart and the only children of each of their parents, they held on to each other as if they were sisters. When we got the news of her diagnosis, it was like being on the wrong end of a brick thrown at warp speed. Thankfully, she successfully got through all of her radiation and cancer treatments. She still wears a bit of pink in her hair as proof of those tough days. For Patty, and the many others that battle this disease, we can do better.
Please join my fundraising efforts as I commit to paddling 30 miles in 3 days in honor of Patty's courageous win over cancer.
Why 30 miles?
A perfect 10 for a perfect aunt x 3 days of the Standup For a Cure event.
