Transportation Children's Center (TCC) is a non for profit daycare center providing affordable, quality education to toddlers and preschoolers for working class families most of whom live in, work for and support the local community. Located in the State Transportation Building, steps from the Public Garden, this small, humble center is helping to foster an independent and confident spirit in the children who attend. It is a special place, culturally rich in both its student and teacher population. Children are encouraged to participate in free and structured play and are exposed to music, art and creative thinking. Students are taught the values of acceptance, kindness and love as a way of life. Many of the dedicated teachers and staff at TCC have committed 10, 20 and almost 30 years nurturing and enriching the daily experiences for all who attend.
It has long been a goal of Transportation Children's Center to offer infant care. Later this year, TCC will take the initial steps toward opening a a new Infant Center. Given the costs are high and the need is much, TCC NEEDS YOUR HELP! Only with the assistance and aid of our surrounding community, friends and colleagues will TCC be able to continue this growth and their mission of offering high quality care for children from as young as 3 months.
On June 3rd at 2:30pm Transportation Childrens Center is holding its first ever cycling fundraiser! We are joining forces with the Flywheel in the Prudential Center where our pedal power will help us go the distance in welcoming the youngest members of the TCC family - infants!
