My name is Christina Hampton and I am the Executive Director Of Living Independently For Transition Inc. L.I.F.T. is recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).
L.I.F.T., Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for individuals who have been most affected by life's challenges.
L.I.F.T. Inc., is a non-profit organization designed to develop, empower, mentor, and motivate individuals who have experienced challenges in their lives, while providing quality affordable housing, life skills development and implementation, and a variety of other supportive services required to successfully transition our program participants to self-sufficiency leading to an improved quality of life.
This organization has been bulit on grace, nothing short of pure passion, and an abundence of love. The reason I say it HAS been built, is because the house is move-in ready for clients! Right now our At-Risk Youth/AgedOut Youth need us. Everything has been poured into this house and another home that will be our phase II. Our first home has 3 bedrooms (2) priviate and (1) shared which can house 4 wonderful young adults. Phase II has room for up to 5 young adults! By L.I.F.T. being a new nonprofit it is hard to run the programs/houses as they should be properly ran, due to the newness of the organization.* Due to the lack of funding, after we have put our all into these homes for our community, we CANNOT give up now!** Thats why we need your HELP!!!!!
*WE ARE SO NEW, WE HAVE TO BUILD A RAPPORT UP FOR FUNDING. Funding is NOT available until successfully running the program and services have been started ---> 30-90 days of fully operating.
**We Put Our All Into It=Initial investment for the remodels of the homes created to service our youth in our communities.

Rent /$1,000 a month/$12,000 - a year
Insurance - $168 a month/$2,016-a year
Utilies-$1000 a month/$12,000-a year
Household Items-$500 a month/$6,000 a year
Supportive Services- *$7,984 -$ 8,000 (Not Including Pay For Certified Staff)
Payroll For Professional Trained Staff-3 Shifts At least 20hrs a Wk @ $16hr / $30,720 16 Weeks
Emergency House Maintenance- at least $5,000 a year. (furnace, hotel, hot water tank, Fire, Gas)
