The Therapeutic Recreation for Adults & Kids (TRAK) also known as the Therapeutic Riding Academy of Knoxville (TRAK) is moving to the Collegedale, Tennessee area.
TRAK was founded in 2004 and has impacted countless lives. Children have said their first words, sat up for the first time, and walked for the first time due to their participation in the TRAK program.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will help TRAK to continue to fulfill it's mission to provide those with a wide range of emotional and physical challenges or disabilities with a "whole" treatment of mind, body, and soul through nutritional counseling, physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies provided in conjuction with therapeutic horseback riding and other animal-assisted therapies. All therapies and counseling are provided with an underlying Christian influence where God can be recognized as our ultimate physician. We are here to fill the commission given to share the good news of the gospel and to heal the sick.
TRAK will not only provide local opportunities for highly effective animal-assisted therapies for those with special needs, but it will also provide many volunteer opportunities for those attending the local high schools and colleges.
TRAK is currently needing help towards getting funds for sponsorships (sponsor a student or an animal), moving & operating expenses (horse care, instructor/therapy costs), and special projects (such as property, fencing, mounting ramp, a sensory integration trail, a lift and indoor riding arena).
God bless you for your prayers and financial support.
