Here at Hope Equine our trainers make a difference every day.
We take in horses of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and training levels. Most of our horses come from our local agricultral crimes unit. This means that we rarely get any information or history. The horses that come in do not even have names. These horses are from neglect situations, abuse situations or are abandonded. Our trainers evaluate them and start them on the road to a new family.
Training is one of the most important things we can do to ensure a good home for our horses. Just imagine a 1200# animal with no manners! They can be very dangerous. The training team gives our horses the foundation they need to be adopted into a new home.
With just a week left in 2019 please help us reach our budget goal for 2020!
We spend approx. $255 a week on training. We have 2 trainers that come to the rescue to work with our horses. That is approx $13,260 a year in training.
We also attend a riding clinic each year in New Mexico. The trainers earn a scholarship to attend but we have to cover travel expenses which work out to be around $1,000.
We would also like to attend horse shows, obstacle challenges, and trail rides this year so have added an additional $740 for this.
Our end goal is $15,000. Can you help us hit this goal? For each donation of $10 or more you will receive one of our outstanding 2020 calenders featuring all your favorite horses!
