You read that right. I'm running the 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston on Monday, April 16, 2018. (OK, it'll be more like a jog/walk since I'm slow and I only have 10 weeks, but it's STILL 26.2 miles!) Why? Because I can - I think. And because the Shrewsbury Youth & Family Services needs money. This agency is working hard to deliver programming that is powerful, effective and in direct response to the needs of the community. Whether helping a client process trauma, counseling a teen who's struggling with thoughts of suicide, or helping those who are struggling to keep their families warm during these long, cold winter months, SYFS is a place for people to turn for comfort and strength during some of life's most difficult challenges. Each dollar that you donate to SYFS allows them to say "YES" to one more client. Check out their website to see more about their life-saving, community-focused programming: www.SYFS-MA.org "But, Tracy, you don't live in Shrewsbury...and neither do I!" This is true. However many people DO live there, and many of those rely on the Youth & Family Services. Please help me help them. I'm doing the hard part. All I'm asking you to do is open your wallet give what you can. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
