Hey everyone! I am riding in the 10th annual Tour Du Rouge May 6-11, 2018, a 6-day, 537 mile bicycle ride from Houston, TX to New Orleans, LA. Because I have met my goals for The Arc of Greater Houston, I am expanding my fundraising to include The Arc Baltimore. This is the 4th time that I am riding in the Tour and the first time I am fundraising for The Arc Baltimore.
I will be riding with the Resistors Bicycling Club which includes Brandon Skall, Pat McMahon, Phil Rodriguez, and myself. It is our second ride in the Tour as a Team. You can visit our Facebook page to watch our progress during the ride, see team pictures, and get information on forthcoming local fundraising events.

Funds donated, on this page, as a result of my ride will go to The Arc Baltimore and will directly support the following important programs in our community:
Bay Buddies - This is a camp environment for 80 kids with significant disabilities. It enables them to experience Baltimore, and includes activities such as swimming, horseback riding, visits to area attractions and much more. The Arc Baltimore provides kids with all the physical support and services they require to provide them with an awesome summer experience.
Career Catalyst - This is a very important program in the Baltimore community. Career Catalyst provides an Intern-to-Work Program for individuals with developmental disabilities. It enables them to learn new skills, experience different types of jobs and work environments, and ultimately gain employment in a rewarding environment.
A little bit about The Arc The Arc is a nationwide non-profit organization formed in 1950 to advocate for the inclusion of people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in all aspects of society. The Arc operates at the national, state, and local levels. The Arc works in collaboration with other agencies and organizations to facilitate the development of a wide array of options available to individuals and their families in our community. The Arc is a member-based organization that relies on membership and program fees, contributions from corporations, foundations, individuals, and contracts to implement and expand its programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. The Arc has been instrumental in the creation of virtually every program service, right and benefit available to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities across the United States.
The Arc is an important fixture in Baltimore and that is why I am riding in the Tour du Rouge! I have pledged to raise at least $2,500 to support the great work of The Arc. My personal goals are significantly greater than that! I need your help to meet and exceed my goals.
