In the upcoming Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 7th, I will be participating for Blueprint on behalf of Team Imerman Angels. This will be the fourth consecutive year that a Blueprint team member will be participating in the Marathon to benefit this tremendous cause.
In case you aren’t familiar with the non-profit organization, Imerman Angels (“IA”) was created on the belief that no one should have to face cancer alone and without the necessary support. IA developed a unique matching process, partnering anyone, any age, any gender, anywhere, and any cancer type seeking support with someone just like them – a “Mentor Angel”. A Mentor Angel is a cancer survivor or caregiver who most importantly has faced the same type of cancer. IA’s service is absolutely free and helps anyone touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world.
Whether or not you, your loved ones, or your friends have been impacted by cancer in one way or another, it is incredibly important that we unite to do our part and support the global fight against cancer. My goal is to raise $1,500.00, and we are very gracious and thankful for any amount that you are willing to contribute to support me and this wonderful cause.
We should all help and do our part to ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
