Hello! CCAP Across The Map needs your help to raise $1,000 to print 50 training manuals for our next field project in Uganda. We are going to the Ishaka Village in west-town Uganda, just outside of Kampala, in January 2021 with our partner, the Pauline Foundation. This project is unique because we are expanding beyond a focus in cervical health and creating a manual that includes prevention and detection information about different types of cancers (cervical, breast, ovarian, and more), sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and psychological resources on how to maintain mental health. We will be staying in Uganda for one week and working with local doctors to provide a different training course every day to people in the surrounding communities on how to prevent and detect these different maladies. Our educational manual and necessary medical equipment to perform the detection procedures will be given to the people we train. Make a tax-deductible donation today to help us with printing costs for 50 training manuals by October 1st, 2020 to do your part to #savethecervix!
