Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Run to Home Base. Most of you already know about RTHB and why I run it, but as a brief recap: The funds that we are able to raise will be used to help Veterans that have served our country. Many times when they come home from deployment, they suffer from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and/or Traumatic Brain Injuries. The funds raised help not only them, but their families as well, with clinical care, education, research, and community outreach. These Service Members selflessly choose to place themselves in harms way so that the rest of us are able to live our lives as we do now.
Our team is set up in memory of 2nd Lieutenant TJ McGrath, who gave his life while serving our country at Fort Hood in 1996. It is my honor to run this 9k race for TJ, as well as his brothers and sisters in the armed forces.
With the help of my friends and family, I want to help make a difference when these Service Men and Women come home – it’s the least I can do. If you would like to support our Veterans and their families, please click on the link below and donate what you can. Online donations are easiest and provide an immediate receipt for tax purposes. Thank you for reading this and for your donation – any amount helps!!
Thank you so much,
