This past year has been spent nearly every night with my grandfather in the CCU, RCU, ICU, LTAC, Rehab, and back again to the hospital. If I had to describe him in one word it would be "fighter".
Every Yalla participant is a fighter. I sat next to my grandfather holding his hand each time they doctor's gave up. He survived three resucitations, got of respirators, vents, and pulled through each time. Every Yalla participant pulls through their own challenges time after time. They inspire me on a constant basis. The least I can do for this amazing organization is to give back for all the inspiration they have given me through raising money to keep YALLA going.
Thank you for helping me with this cause.
May my fighter in heaven, grandpa- Meir b-n Yeshayahu's neshama have an aliyah through this. Love you grandpa.
