The No Place for Hate Student Coalition at ThunderRidge High school is excited to announce a partnership with Backpack Society to help provide Thanksgiving meals for families in our local community. NPFH's goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and kind environment for all students, faculty, and families, not only in our high school but in our community. The NPFH student coalition will be collecting non-perishable food items (see list below) from, November 2nd-November 19th. TRHS students can bring non-perishable food items and drop them off at any of the designated containers at the entrances/exits of the school building.
List of non-perishable items: boxed instant potatoes, boxed turkey stuffing, cornbread mix, canned corn, canned yams, canned carrots, canned string beans, french fried onions, cream of mushroom soup, cranberry sauce, jarred gravy, canned pie filling, apple and pumpkin, bags of mini marshmallows.
TRHS students, families, and faculty can also make monetary donations. Together we hope to support those that have fallen upon difficult times, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We appreciate your help and support to provide Thanksgiving meals this holiday season!
