Yaroslav is 5 years old. After a difficult birth he was in intensive care for three weeks. He began to have seizures. Doctors found he had cerebral edema, portal hypertension (portal hypertension is abnormally high blood pressure in the large vein that brings blood from the intestine to the liver) and pyloric stenosis (a narrowing of the opening from the stomach to the first part of the small intestine). He underwent surgery and was discharged home. He was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Despite all of this, Yaroslav is a very cheerful child, loves to go for walks in his stroller and watch colorful cartoons. He understands everything, reacts to everything, but so far he cannot speak due to speech delays. The child needs constant rehabilitation in specialized clinics. A clinic has an opening for Yaroslavchik and his mother for their first serious treatment program. His mother is very worried that she will not be able to find enough funds to pay the clinic bill.
Let's give this sweet family one less thing to worry about and fund Yaroslav's therapy!
