As many of you know, my father, Vito Sr., passed away in December 2012 of stomach cancer. In 2016, we established the Vito Chiaravalloti, Sr. Memorial Scholarship at CBA, providing financial assistance to students whose lives have been in some way impacted by cancer. Although no longer physically with us, my father's spirit remains alive and his legacy lives on! In total, we have raised over $30,000 and have secured an endowed scholarship of$1,000 at Christian Brothers Academy that will be given to a student annually.
In 2017, we had our first Vito J. Chiaravalloti, Sr. Scholarship recipient, Yannis Gouzassis. Now a senior, Yannis has taken full advantage of the CBA experience.
This is a Greatest Showman theme, so come dressed to impress in your best circus outfits. Due to the pandemic, the event this year will be invitation only and outdoors, under a tent, at the Avon Marina. There will be music, light fare, and drinks. If you do not feel comfortable attending, we completely understand but we hope you will please consider donating online. And although it's invitation only to attend, we hope you share the link with family and friends!
If you would like to write a check, please make it out to Christian Brothers Academy and in the memo write “Vito Chiaravalloti, Sr. Memorial Scholarship”. Bring checks to the event or mail them to:
