Urban Zen is generously opening their studio doors for a fundraiser on June 22nd for The White Helmets, the volunteer rescue workers in Syria. Please join for a special session of The Class by Taryn Toomey x Live Drumming led by Jaycee Gossett & Caleb Spaudling, to be followed by a nourishing brunch in Urban Zen's lush sanctuary loft and garden terrace by veecoursemeals, Agata & Valentina, The White Moustache, and Bishop Wells.
100% of the ticket is tax-deductible and will aid The White Helmets in their courageous humanitarian efforts to help the Syrian people in crisis. They have saved over 100,000 lives in the past five years and many have paid the ultimate price for their compassion -- 252 have been killed while saving others.
The Class by Taryn Toomey is a transformative 65 minute workout of the body and mind. Through a music driven, mat based practice, The Class exercises the body to engage the mind. Through physical conditioning, repetitive simple cardio and strength-based exercises, students work through mental and emotional behaviours to create new tools for experiencing life. The dynamic, rhythmic addition of Caleb's djembe to Jaycee's curated playlist and inspired teachings will inject an additional pulse to the cathartic experience. Mat and towel provided.
Check-in begins at 10 am.
Space is limited. Click the Register button to purchase tickets. If you cannot attend, you can still donate. Crowdrise is charging 8% fee for processing tickets.
