Melanoma is the third most common cancer among women ages 20-39 and the second most common cancer in men ages 20-39. In the US, melanoma is currently the fifth most common cancer in men and the sixth most common in women of all age groups. This is one of those cancers that can be almost entirely preventable or treatable with proper education.
Our challenge is easy...
- Post a video to our Facebook page of yourself, your friends or your group stripping down to your bathing suits or shorts and applying sunscreen to your body before DIPPING INTO THE ACTIVITY OF YOUR CHOICE. Make sure to use the hashtag #StripSprayAndDip
- It could be the swimming at the beach or pool, playing softball in the park, or even riding your bike. Just get out there and be active WITH your sunscreen. Don't be afraid to be creative.
- When you take the challenge you must pledge to donate $5 to the American Cancer Society through this challenge page.
- After you complete the challenge, challenge 5 of your friends to do the same to keep the STRIP, SPRAY & DIP CHALLENGE alive.
The challenge begins on June 21st and runs through labor day, which gives us plenty of time to gain some momentum.
So enjoy your summer and STRIP, SPRAY & DIP.
