Throughout my life, sports have had a continuous impact on me physically, mentally and emotionally. Sports have taught me about teamwork, perseverance, commitment, leadership, and what it truly means to give it your all. My hope is that one day all kids will have the opportunity to play sports and gain life long skills and friendships through activities.
On October 13, 2019, I will be running 26.2 miles in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in support of The Sports Shed. The Sports Shed makes it possible for kids to have positive alternatives to gangs, violence and drugs through organized sports. We provide quality sports equipment to schools and other athletic programs in under-resourced communities. My goal is to raise $1,250 and anything you contribute would be greatly appreciated by me, The Sports Shed, and all the children who are then able to enjoy the positive benefits of sports! Let's go!
