For the 3rd year, The Sports Museum will have a team of runners in the New Balance Falmouth Road Race! Joining more than 11,000 runners on Sunday, August 18th in Woods Hole where back-of-the-pack joggers will share the road with the best, forming a tapestry of colors from the start on Water Street to the finish at the beach in Falmouth Heights. As we head into 2019, we are very thankful to New Balance for providing us with four (4) entries to the 2019 Falmouth Road Race. This year, our philanthropic efforts will align with our other running teams, and be dedicated to our award-winning educational program that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community, Boston vs. Bullies.
Boston vs. Bullies is an educational program that is provided to schools and organizations across Massachusetts free of charge. The video-based program features current athletes from all of Boston’s sports teams and provides kids with practical guidance, strategies and options grounded in the latest anti-bullying research. Since the full roll out began in Fall 2013, Boston vs. Bullies has impacted more than 90,000 students (grades 5-6), 1,000 teachers and 300 schools and organizations. Thank you for supporting The Sports Museum 2019 Falmouth Road Race Team. Let’s win this one together!
