Siblings of people with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities play an important life-long role in the lives of their siblings and parents: from early efforts of inclusion in the elementary school classroom to long-term care planning. There continues to be a hunger from siblings for more formal support, including advocacy training, emotional support, life coaching, and community building with other siblings.
The Sibling Transformation Project (STP) was developed to answer that call. It's a 6-month leadership development program for siblings to provide support, community, coaching, and skills training to develop leaders in the fight for disability justice.
STP is the first program of its kind and we need your help to make it a reality. When you financially support STP, you are empowering participants to transform their own lives and that of their families and communities.
