We are a non-profit run growers' market, originally established in 2014 by volunteers and neighborhood residents, celebrating all things local and at the heart of New Mexican culture. During a normal year, we would be able to house over 400 vendors and help those vendors gain over $1.5 M in sales that would contribute to our local economy. But due to the pandemic, those numbers were reduced to a third of what they were and have greatly impacted our vendors, performers, and our own non-profit's programs that make our market accessible/affordable for New Mexico business owners. Not only does healthy funding keep our booth fees low for farmers, it also helps first-time market vendors in our area by supporting our Neighborhood Junction Program that provides low-cost booth fees for their first season! This is a program we have sustained with our own resources over the last 3 years, but as the pandemic limits our revenue source we become less and less able to sustain it.
How you can help : : Your contribution to our market will help the farmers and vendors who participate in our market by providing low-cost booth fees through our Neighborhood Junction Program and sustaining equitable retail sources for farmers, artisans, and food vendors who participate in our market. As the pandemic continues, our vendors continue to be affected, your help can put them back on track and keep the market open!
We deeply appreciate any contribution you can offer, anything you give is supporting community-driven agriculture and economy!
