As many of you know, Paul Michienzie and I and some of our friends and family were spectators near the finish line of the Boston Marathon in 2013. We were 30 feet away from the second bomb when it exploded. I have gone back to Boston every year since then for Patriots Day to be with our Boston Strong family. Watching so many people from myriad walks of life and various levels of health cross the finish line each year, and feeling the energy, passion, and pride of the people of the City of Boston cheering on the runners has provided additional motivation. Out of tragedy, triumph. Out of hatred, love. Out of fear, courage.
Love is the key ingredient and triumph the clear mission of PRF. The courage of kids living with Progeria is unfathomable. Let’s honor that courage by donating to PRF. The money we raise to support PRF will be used to find a cure.
I’ve been training for the last several months building up a good foundation. I just recently completed my first half-marathon. Now it’s time to turn on the juice and open the wallets. On April 20, 2020, with your support, I will complete the Boston Marathon.
Please donate early and often.
