We Need Your Help
As you may remember, each year at our Leadership Conference, we support a number of good causes one of which is The Priority Center (Formerly the Child Abuse Prevention Center).
Normally, when you purchase a ticket for the Leadership Summit, we donate a portion of the money to selected charities. This year, due to the current environment, no such donation has been possible.
With the reality of COVID-19, they need our help more than ever!
Lisa Fujimoto, the Executive Director, has reached out to explain the unprecedented shortfall in revenue they are experiencing during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Grants they would normally receive have been redirected to other health issues associated with COVID-19, direct donations have almost ceased, and their three largest money-raising events including the Gala Dinner have had to be canceled.
While we cannot possibly help every program, we are aware of one major program called The Connected Care Program. This program founded in 2019 provides additional support to families after they finish the initial crisis care programs and extends support for these families by an additional 12 months. This program receives no grant monies and is privately funded by the organization. As such it is at direct risk of being stopped which means that circa 200 families could see this additional support withdrawn at a time of most crisis in our Orange County communities.
Please Support the Connected Care Program.
