Now more than ever, the vulnerable youth in our community need the services of BBBSLR.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region is facing a financial crisis; the agency relies on events to make up half of their annual budget. We know that we must push forward and make sure we continue to serve current children of the agency and stand up to the challenge of serving the children on our waitlist. Our volunteers have stepped up to not only find new and creative ways to connect and support their "Littles", but also they and the staff are making sure the agency families have what they need as far as basic needs.
Right now, many of our Littles are facing critical issues like isolation and depression. Our commitment to positively impacting youth and community outcomes through one-on-one mentorship is more important than ever.
We truly hope that you will participate and will become part of the story of what helped BBBSLR survive this crisis.
