My parents are the reason I am where I am today - and I would do anything for them. For almost ten years, my mother has been living with Parkinson’s Disease. PD is a neurodegenerative disease that unfortunately has no cure. Over the years, Parkinson’s has taken a heavy toll on my family, as it is difficult to slow down the progression of the disease. Recently, more promising developments are coming out of the front lines of neurological and pharmaceutical research. But no significant breakthrough is possible without sufficient funding. My family and millions of others desperately need YOUR help to find a cure for Parkinson’s and ways to improve the quality of life of those affected. For that together, we will win.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through funded research and ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
