We all have friends and family who have been affected by cancer. In 2016, my dad was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and he has been nothing short of the amazing dad he has always been. I ran my first half marathon this year and, to no surprise, my dad and mom were at the finish line to support and cheer me on. In retrospect, I could not help but wish I would have ran for a cause so this time around I’m running for the cause closest to my heart. In the spirit of “Picking a Fight Against Cancer,” join me in supporting those fighting against Leukemia and Lymphoma.
