We are excited to be running the New York Marathon with The Herren Project and are thankful to our friends and family for their support as we train and raise funds. We have both run marathons, but this will be our first together.
The Herren Project's mission has long held deep meaning for Megan and her family, and continuing to support their work is a high priority. Megan has been a long time team member of The Herren Project Runs having raised funds and run in the 2017 Boston Marathon and the 2016 Jamestown, RI half marathon. Last year, she was training to run the 2017 New York Marathon for the Herren Project and was sidelined by an injury. After several months of rest, rehabilitiation, and lots of PT, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to train and run in the 2018 marathon with the team.
Being a basketball fan, Greg knew of Chris Herren and the Herren Project, however it wasn't until he started dating Megan that he grasped the significance of their work and importance of it. When Pam announced there were two extra bibs available, he jumped at the chance to join the team, and run along side Megan.
Our joint goal is to raise $2500.00 for the Herren Project before November, 4, 2018. We hope you'll consider making a donation.

The Herren Project and THP RUNS is truly honored to once again participate in the 2018 NYC Mrathon. Please join us as we provide assistance in taking the first steps toward recovery, and a life of sobriety, through treatment navigation, educational programs, mentoring resources and support groups. We seek to increase awareness on the signs of addiction and bring hope for a better tomorrow. Step by step, The Herren Project team is truly making a difference, one person, one family, one community at a time!
