Getting an ASD (on the spectrum) diagnosis can be overwhelming, but by no means is it the end of the world for the parents or life for your child. It is the beginning of a journey in which you will be strategically creating a path for your child's life to ensure the best for their life as they transition into school age, teens and adults. Early intervention is key, but not the end of all you should do for your child. As an autism advocate and Autism Ambassador Advisory Board member, there is a wealth of resources that the Autism Society of Indiana (ASI) provides at every stage of life for those on the spectrum to assist in their success. The work and resources ASI provides also assists parents, by helping them navigate all the therapy and financial assistance options your child, young adult and adult may need. They also provide resources to better help you understand ASD and how you can be a contributing party in your child's growth and development.
The wonderful work that ASI does needs your assistance and I ask you to accept my Donation Challenge and help them continue their great work.
