I'm Patrick, a 29 year old Massachusetts native (born and raised) living in Franklin with my wife, Ashley, and our dog Gabby.
Ashley and I have always been Boston Marathon fanatics. We've always been amazed at the amount of money raised by runners for such great causes. The Marathon is an incredible event.
We've also always felt that giving back to the community and taking care of each other is so important, especially in today's society. We've enjoyed running races together, knowing that we're contributing to a charity or worthy cause in the process.
I've always wanted to run Boston, ever since I was a teenager. And after witnessing Ashley's 2017 Boston Marathon journey in which she raised over $11,000 for The New England Center for Children (NECC), I knew I wanted to do the same for a charity I felt passionate about.
I'm ecstatic to be running for The Greg Hill Foundation 2019 Boston Marathon Team!
To celebrate 20 years on the air at WAAF in Boston, Greg Hill formed a foundation in June of 2010 that would respond to the immediate needs of families that had been touched by tragedy. Feeling a strong obligation to communities that had supported his radio show, he wanted to create a foundation that would be able to harness his incredibly generous media audience and that would be able to assist in a tragic time at a moments notice. Since its inception they have donated over $2,000,000 to local families in need.
I've been so amazed time and time again how much The Greg Hill Foundation is able to do for local families in times of tragedy. I am so happy to contribute to this amazing organization as part of The Greg Hill Foundation 2019 Boston Marathon team.
Please join me in supporting this amazing cause. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and will help those who need it most, in times when they need the support most.
Thank you so much for your support!
