Shooters will select up to FIVE different hour-and-a-half sessions on topics ranging from “Fundamentals of ELR” to “Modern Tripod Techniques” and "Optics Theory". Complete course listing will be published soon!
There will be time for those who may need to confirm their zero for the following day’s match to do so. Lunch will be provided on the range, and we’ll give you some time at the end of the day to clean up and get ready for The Rally Point Receptionstarting at 6pm.
In addition to an outstanding lineup of clinic instructors, we're also proud to announce that Medal of Honor recipient and Marine Scout Sniper Dakota Meyer will be attending and shooting the match with us.
DAY TWO will see shooters testing their skills in the FFP Precision Rifle Benefit Match. The acronym “FFP” stands for “Final Firing Point” in military parlance. Getting to and successfully occupying the FFP is oftentimes more difficult for a military sniper than taking that one, well-aimed shot. To honor the legacy built by scores of military snipers in past and current conflicts, we’ve developed a course of fire that will challenge and inspire shooters of all levels.
Shooters will be formed into squads of up to 15 people, and they will rotate through ten stages on Day 1. Some squads will include VIP’s from the military sniper community, including Medal of Honor recipient and Marine Scout Sniper Dakota Meyer. Shooters will be able to purchase a chance to be teamed up with one of these living legends.
Saturday evening, everyone is invited to come join us for The Kopfjäger Feast. It will be a great evening of good food and even better camaraderie to close out the first day of the match.
DAY THREE, shooters will continue to be challenged in the final eight stages of the match. Those left standing at the end will enjoy the spoils from a robust prize table supplied by great sponsors such Leupold Optics, Vortex Optics, FLIR, Otis Tech, Peterson Cartridge, Rifles Only, Strategic Armory Corp and many more!
Awarding the winners at the end of the day will close out The Gathering of Snipers for 2020!
