Help us support survivors of domestic violence.
During this pandemic, while we sacrifice to stay home and stay safe, survivors of domestic violence are anything but safe. They are at home, confined with their abusers, more isolated than ever before. Reports of domestic violence are rising, in our community, across the state, and across the nation.
The DOVE Project supports the survivors of the community of Vashon Island, WA. Our hard working and committed advocates have adjusted to the needs of the community, by extended advocacy hours, and continued educational services using technology.
We need your help! Our non-profit is funded solely by grants and fundraising. As worries of an economic crisis looms, our ability to successfully fundraise becomes more limited. The community of Vashon needs the DOVE Project to continue supporting those who are in need, to help empower them to find the safety they deserve.
The DOVE Project Board of Directors kindly ask you to join us in supporting our dedicated advocates. Your gift will help provide immediate financial support to keep our advocates employed, maintain our existing services, and continue to adapt our services to the changing needs of survivors, created by the pandemic.
