Dear youth basketball fans and supporters,
The Crusaders program of West Orange, New Jersey, has been helping youth develop and grow basketball and life skills since it was founded in 2005. In addition to winning games, we strive to teach our players how to excel at team dynamics, resiliency, and good sportsmanship.
Our program currently has 4 boys AAU-travel teams covering grades 6 through 12 and 2 girls AAU-travel teams for grades 5 through 7. We also run year-round skill development clinics out of our practice gym located at St. Joseph’s Church in West Orange, where we recently invited the strength and conditioning coach from a top private high school program to help train our players.
Our lead coach and founder continues to work tirelessly for the Crusaders program and donated $15,000 of his own funds to help the kids during COVID. Our assistant coaches and parents also continue to support the Crusaders, and we are so thankful for all that they do. But, we need more help.
Your entire donation will go toward our 501(c)(3) program and be used for gym time, uniforms, volunteer coach stipends, equipment and to provide some club scholarships. We will put your donation to work immediately as it will help us fund the program over the 2021 summer months, and possibly part of the fall.
Your donation to our 501(c)(3) would be tax-deductible as allowed by law, and we are happy to provide a tax ID.
Thank you in advance for your support. Our youth players will benefit greatly!
