This year, we're raising money for three great organizations in our community. Here's a litte more about where your donation dollars will go...
YMCA Loudoun—YMCA Loudoun County is committed to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. They provide critical programs that nurture the potential of kids and challenge them to be caring and responsible individuals in society. Funds from The Cornhole Challenge will be used to decrease the financial demand of quality childcare and other programs for low-wage earning and underemployed parents and guardians.
The Children's Science Center—This 501(c)3 non-profit organization and interactive museum is where children, families and school groups can explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts through fun, engaging hands-on exhibits, activities and programs. It serves more than 70,000 visitors a year at the Children’s Science Center Lab at Fair Oaks Mall and through community programs delivered to schools, libraries and STEM festivals across Northern Virginia. Its mission is to inspire a love of learning STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create. Its vision is to create a world-class interactive science center that ignites the curiosity in all of us.
Home Aid Northern Virginia—Connects vetted local non-profits serving those affected by homelessness with homebuilding experts who generously donate their time, resources, and expertise to create dignified, safe, and stable spaces that foster healing and growth. The organization also hosts other events and activities that supplement the work of its non-profit partners.
