The Children’s Museum Group needs your help The Children’s Museum Group has seen a lot in the 93 years we’ve been around but nothing like what we are facing today due to Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the guidance of our State and municipal leaders, we have had to take the unprecedented action of shutting down all our physical operations. Now, we ask for your help navigating this troublesome period. During uncertainty, we know there is always one thing we can count on: the generosity, kindness, and compassion of our friends, neighbors, and friends we haven't yet met.
Our community, as does all of America, rallies to take care of their own. While we are taking measures to ensure The Children’s Museum and Roaring Brook Nature Center will meet the current difficulties that face us, we need your support and assistance: please help us care for our resident wildlife and help us to ensure we will be able to again serve the children and families of CT once the current situation improves and we can reopen. We value the safety and health of our guests and supporters. We are hoping the time we are closed will be short, but we cannot be sure. You will see some changes as we work through difficult times. With your help, they will be minimal. We want to get back to being a place where families can spend time together, learn about the stars, pet a groundhog, learn about the birds and plants around us, and see a child smile as the make discovery after discovery. Please give, as the future is in your hands. Be safe, be healthy, and let’s all take care of one another. Thank you for all your kindness and generosity.
