Why We Do What We Do
  Dec 15 2020 . 15355 N Northsight Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, USA

The Besse Family Foundation is now in its 6th year bringing joy to Salvation Army Christmas Angel Children around this amazing state.

In their 37th year 2020 has brought us the largest challenge yet! The Salvation Army has received over 50,000 applications for assistance from families with children under 12 years old whom cannot afford otherwise to put toys under the tree.

This mission for us began in 1987 when our family was a recipient of a program like this through our church. Feeling the love from our friends directly brought our family more joy than can ever be comprehended until you begin to return the favor and now 6 years later, we have spread joy to over 1,000 families across the valley thanks to your generosity helping us raise over $60,000.

2020 has proven to provide an amazing opportunity to help your neighbor and to be the joy in a child’s eye! Our mission is to step in and help as many families as possible!

Our shopping adventure will be held on December 15, 2020 at the Walmart on Northsite Blvd in North Scottsdale from 9am until the last toy is purchased.

Our goal for 2020 is to help 350 kids experience what we did so many years ago. Your kind donation of $25 helps get us that much closer. $50 checks off an entire wish-list for one deserving child. In 2019 our average donation was $93 and we were able to help 325 kids.

Please kindly make your donation today via the link below. You may also contact us directly at 602-705-7618 to make a donation directly to us to avoid any service charges. We accept cash, checks, Zelle, PayPal and Venmo.

100% of the donations go to the children as all expenses are covered by The Besse Family directly.
