The Atanansi School provides an education for impoverished communities in the Luuka district, which is a community in rural Uganda. The vicious cycle of poverty has led to a 60% poverty rate in Luuka, which is why the community needs support.
This is where the Atanansi School stepped in. Ugandan Fred Jenga is the founder of the organization. When visiting the Luuka district, he spoke to the village leaders and the community, and together, they determined that a school was needed to educate the community's children. This project, with the goal of bettering the future of the Luuka district. They have successfully built this school, and it currently educates hundreds of children from kindergarten to seventh grade.
The school is funded only by donations and support from generous people like you, which allows the members of the community to properly educate and nourish these children. With donors and new partner support from people and companies, we can work together with the Luuka community to overcome the lack of governmental aid. They are a small organization, so anything helps, and all of your donations go directly to providing for these kids.
