Yes, I’m trekking the streets of NYC for 40 miles once again. Every year, about 13 miles in, climbing the Queensboro Bridge, I question my life and what the heck did I get myself into. Honestly, with all of your support, I can’t say no to helping out this awesome not-for-profit organization.
While many of you already know this, InTandem is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide tandem (yes, 2-seater bikes) cycling programs to people who are blind, have low vision, or cannot ride independently due to other disabilities. This ride is our signature event and most important fundraiser of the year, with a goal to raise $150,000 this year. We will be 125 strong, pedaling 40 miles through the awesome New York City streets -- a team total of 5,000 miles -- all while helping to make cycling more accessible.
Every little bit helps us keep the wheels on the bikes turning, lap after lap, hill after hill. Year over year, just look how your donations helped InTandem grow.
