Help us support our employees and their families during this time of need.
Everyone knows someone who was laid off during the coronavirus crisis. The Geek Foundation is working to offer free tech training to combat job displacement. Students can expect to learn IT and computer programming through project- and mentor-based classes over the course of a few months to help usher them into entry-level careers that pay well and hold stable in a market that has gone remote. This type of training could change the life of someone you know, but we can't do it without your help. As a nonprofit, we depend on funding from businesses and grants, but understandably much of that money has been redirected to support patients and medical personnel. That's why we need your help!
We kindly ask that you join us in supporting our dedicated employees. Your gift will provide immediate financial support so we can offer our tech classes to a community of people who have lost their jobs.
Your donations support a variety of students!
In addition to our adult IT programs, The Geek Foundation supports the Springfield, Missouri community by offering a variety of tech and maker classes for kids, as well as a coding summer camp for high school girls.
