I sit on the board of the Texas 4000 for Cancer because I'm impressed by the deep dedication and significant impact of the student leaders in the fight against cancer.
Each year, approximately 75 University of Texas student leaders plan, train & fundraise for 18 months and then cycle 4000+ miles from Austin to Anchorage - spreading hope, knowledge and charity in the fight against cancer.
In February 2020, I will again be running the Austin Half Marathon to help support their fundraising efforts. Having lost my dad to cancer at 59, and with his brother recently diagnosed with cancer, I continue to be dedicated to organizations to help fight this disease and support those dealing with it. Please join me by donating today - or signing up to run & fundraise with us.
