June 27th is National HIV Testing Day!
Jacksonville, Florida has one of the largest growing HIV infection rates. Men and women of color are disproportionately affected by HIV and AIDS, are less likely to be tested and less likely to be referred for services. Testing, education and resources save lives!
Lolita Hill (30+ years of HIV advocacy), Founder and CEO of Jacksonville Health and Educational Resource Center, Inc. is partnering with the Jacksonville Department of Health to bring the National Day of Testing to downtown Jacksonville and 1024 Edgewood West.
This event will raise awareness, provide on the spot testing, and a range of resources and education to prevent HIV and other STDs/STIs.
Your donated dollars will go directly toward fundng this event and ongoing services provided to vulnerable populations and individuals, couples and families in need.
