Wags 4 Hope is an animal welfare nonprofit organization started in 2012 to encourage responsible pet ownership and help support shelter/rescue animals' medical needs. Wags 4 Hope was inspired by a happy rescue dog named Teddy that traveled for several days on a truck to Connecticut after he was treated for heartworm disease. His big sister, Annie, learned more about his story and what he went through. Teddy's wagging tail gave her hope that more animals like him could be saved through animal welfare advocacy and fundraising. Teddy and Annie will be taking Wags 4 Hope on the road in 2020...
This summer, Wags 4 Hope will be visiting shelter and rescue groups in Connecticut up to New Hampshire to drop off donations for our furry friends in need. Any support would be greatly appreciated for the purchasing of food and toys for these shelter and rescue stops!
Typical costs of food and toys:
-A bag of pet food: $75
-A treats: $15
-A chew toy: $10
