Waylon Jackson, age 7, suffers from CCMI with a variant. This insidious and rare brain condition resulted in Waylon having to endure brain surgeries during each of the first four years of his life. Thankfully he has come through these challenges with residual deficits that, so far, have been minimal. The next time he may not be so lucky. There is no cure for CCM, and treatment is limited to brain/brainstem surgery to remove the malformations and medication to control seizures. Please contribute in Waylon's name to support the 2nd Annual Orange County Angioma Alliance Walk on September 23.
All donations go to support the mission of Angioma Alliance; to inform, support, and empower individuals affected by cavernous angioma and drive research for better treatments and a cure.
Join us as we raise funds and awareness for those affected by cavernous angioma at this walk/5K fun run. Come out out to celebrate this year's theme, Camo For a Cause!
