A significant highlight of my Stonehill College experience was the time I spent at the HOPe house. This organization cultivates an incredibly special and safe space where children, adults, and volunteers can truly be themselves. Differences and unique traits are not only accepted, but celebrated and embraced. The genuine happiness, laughter, and unfiltered fun that I was fortunate to be a part of is something that cannot be found in many places. While providing beneficial respite to families, I was incredibly impressed by the strong community that was built within the walls of this beautiful home.
While many organizations offer programming for children and sometimes adolescents, the HOPe house stands out for the offerings provided to adults as well. Additionally, this program does not simply provide a temporary support or service, but rather long-term support that impacts an individual’s entire family system.
I am thrilled to run the Boston Marathon (a long-term dream of mine) for a cause as near and dear to my heart as the House of Possibilities. Donations are an essential component of funding such a critical program, and I am thrilled to play a role in supporting these fundraising efforts. I will be working to meet my fundraising goal through social and fitness events, raffles, and more -- so please stay tuned!!
