Hi Friends & Family! I am so very excited to announce that I will be running the Boston Marathon this spring with the Bill Belichick Foundation! The Foundation aims to provide coaching, mentorship, and financial support to individuals, communities, and organizations. Focusing on football and lacrosse, its mission is to bring a love of sports, coaching and team building to the athletic leaders of tomorrow.
As many of you know, lacrosse has been a longtime passion of mine. With a father who played lacrosse at Boston College, I grew up with a lacrosse stick in my hand. From Sudbury Youth Girls Lacrosse, to Boston College Club Lacrosse, the sport continues to be a formative part of my life, teaching me the values of resilience, leadership, and teamwork. Moreso, it has brought into my life countless friendships and memories.
Aside from lacrosse, I was also an avid runner in highschool. I was the captain of both my cross country and indoor track & field team, and set a school record my senior year running at National's in the sprint medley relay. I can think of no better way to combine two passions of mine than run for this foundation in the Boston Marathon.
Additionally, this semester I am studying abroad in Amman, Jordan! In the Middle East, I am studying Arabic as well as learning about the refugee crisis that is gripping much of the region and elsehwere. Given the distance, my ability to fundraise is greatly hindered until I return back to the US in January. With that being said, any donation is much appreciated! I will keep everyone updated on any fundraisers I organize upon my return.
Thank you for the love and support!!!
