Amirah is a nonprofit organization in the Boston area that provides a refuge and safe home for women over the age of 18 who were sex trafficked. They offer each woman that comes into the home whole-person care and an individualized, trauma-informed program that will lead them on a journey from exploitation to liberation.
On Saturday, August 11th, we invite you to join in hiking the tallest mountain in New England, Mount Washington, and support the women of Amirah. Each day, they walk a mountain in their trauma recovery work that they do. We can walk a mountain in a day to support her for her lifetime. The hike officially happens on Saturday, August 11th, but if you are unable to hike on that day, please feel free to pick another day this summer. We ask that every individual raise a minimum of $250 (i.e. 2 person team set a goal to raise $500; 4 person team set a goal to raise $1,000).
