My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and finished her last round of treatment in June 2020 after a year of chemo, surgery, radiation, infusions and drugs. Last October, I was lucky enough to participate in the Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Central Park and walk for my mom. Unfortunately the event will not take place this year, but I will still be walking and fundraising alongside friends in honor and celebration of my amazing mother. Join me in the fight against breast cancer!
Nearly 270,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. That could be your mother, sister, daughter, your wife, or even you. Whether it's fueling breast cancer research or providing patients with rides to treatment and personal assistance understanding their diagnosis, your fundraising for the American Cancer Society makes a real difference in the fight against breast cancer. Make your mark and start a fundraiser today.
