Our son Ramon was diagnosed with a rare and life threatening autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis two years ago at the age of 6. He's just turned 8 and has been living with this disease for the past two years. Although he's doing much much better, it is with the help of steroids, chemotherapy, and a lot of medicines that his little body should not have to tolerate, and that can cause a myriad of side effects down the road. That is why we are campaigning tirelessly for a cure for this disease! Cure JM has raised over $11 million which is being spent in hospitals and research facilities around the country (including our very own Children's Hospital of Philadelphia!) to help us find that cure-or at least safer medications!
We are participating in-and helping to organize-Philadelphia's very first Walk Strong to Cure JM on May 4, 2019 at Independence Hall at 4pm. Please, please come out and join us! It will be less than a mile but it will mean the world to us to have your support. And if it's within your means to donate, we would be so appreciative of that too. Thanks for your support, love and prayers.
