I wanted to create a team with Crucial Catch because I want more people to get screened for cancer. Getting screened for cancer is very important to me because it can help save lives. If cancer is found too late is can be very dangerous. My poppy died from cancer and he was one of the most kind, and special people in the world to me. We loved to watch football games together. In honor of my Poppy I want to raise at least $500.00 by SUPERBOWL SUNDAY 2021 (Feb. 7th, 2021). Every dollar helps, so please help by donating if you can.
What is Crucial Catch?: The Crucial Catch program focuses on early detection, education, and access to screenings that can catch cancer early, when it may be easier to treat. Participating clubs work to extend the reach of the NFL’s national program through local grassroots efforts focused on promoting cancer screenings, honoring cancer survivors, and planning special in-stadium or pre-game events in partnership with the American Cancer Society. Through these efforts, teams can help intercept cancer in their hometowns by supporting the program in ways that meet the needs of their communities. This partnership has raised $21 million in support of the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives from cancer by funding grants to help people in underserved communities receive potentially lifesaving screening resources.
Since 2009, the National Football League (NFL) and the American Cancer Society have teamed up in the fight against cancer through the Crucial Catch initiative.
